I've been a "rapper" since 2006. Project after project, the word flop grew into reputation, with no intention of going away. Since 2010, Indianapolis has been introduced to Theon Lee, Noddanuff, Bumpy K Jones, and in some intimate corners Pernell.
Everyone wants to know what happened to the fast-paced, multi-talented, spiritually inclined young man they once knew to be a face in every room. After a long time of reflecting, projecting, denying, and accepting, I finally found the words to explain the mischief. We are finally in a place to take the world on for what it truly is, and live life intentionally through song, poetry, and prayer.
Nah, actually I just dropped a single from my long-awaited hip-hop project, entitled "Where's Pernell?". A five track EP explaining everything I haven't been able to answer. This single is titled "Where Ya Been?", and is the introduction to the start of a promising career in music, cultivating of Hip Hop in Indianapolis, and much more.
